I have bilateral sacroiliac Joint dysfunction for 25 yesrs now I have tried almost everything. Any one has something new?

My new spinal dr. has recommended something called "Dry Needleing" , anybody tried this? It can be done by a physical therapist, or other medical professional. Possibly similar to acupuncture?
