@lashu

Thank you 06111945cc, this information is entirely new to me and of particular interest as I have artherialsclerosis and was trying to find ways to decrease that problem when osteoporosis news arrived and has held my attention since July. Your noting the plaque connection with calcium obviously and finely connects both. I'll look for cod liver oil in pill form as I do not think I could accept it in straight liquid.
Losing faith in my ability to successfully cure the bone disease I am considering either Prolia or Evenity. The longer life use of Prolia on record and its broader application to other maladies
as well seem to make it more attractive. The black box warnings on Evenity is unnerviing.

@lashu once I read about the studies behind the black box warning for Evenity, I am not as concerned. There was no increase in cardiovascular issues or events when compared to placebo, only to alendronate (Fosamax) which actually reduces those risks, so the comparison needs to take that into account.

I do have concerns about side effects and the relatively as yet unknown effects of opposing sclerositin, and am considering doing 6 months, since the first half of the year is more bone building but the second half has more anti-resorptive properties according to McCormick's book.
