Well, we saw it with opioids, which for people with cancer and serious pain, are a game changer. Now people who have surgery may not even have the opportunity to relieve their pain with these drugs. Then follows benzodiazepines. I get it that these drugs end up on the street and kill people. But they will continue to do that. It is those of us who take (or took until they were taken away), and only as prescribed for legit reasons that suffer.
