I am on my third month taking Tymlos. My spine score is -4.9, wrist -5.1, and hip -3.3 and -3.7. I am taking it in part to prepare for a hip replacement. From the comparative studies that I have seen, Tymlos is more effective. I did not notice whether they affect the spine differently, although it is common for one medicine to affect specific bones more or less than other similar ones.
