Well, my gosh, you picked an uncommon variety for a little health drama. I’m sure you’re feeling overwhelmed and it can sure help to not feel alone when you get a new diagnosis. There are a couple of other members who were also diagnosed ALCL so I’d like to introduce you to @grysel25 who started a new discussion in the group with another member, @shari715 joining in to share experiences.

There is another member, @janicepearl, who posted only once a year or so ago with a question about osteoporosis after she’d mentioned a recent diagnosis of ALCL. I’m not sure if she’s still signed into the forum but hopefully if she sees her name or gets an email notification she’ll pop back into the forum.

Ashley, can you tell me a little bit about your diagnosis? From what I’ve found in a little research, there are different classifications of this disease. Is your condition limited to your skin or is this systemic? Has your doctor discussed a treatment plan with you?
