One thing that I learned from my doctors throughout my entire liver journey is that each one of us, with a liver disease, can expect all, some, or none of the ugly side effects. And it can happen at varying times of our journey. So, to answer your question, I will say that I did experiencing some nausea and vomiting. You are allowed to be concerned, you are his wife and caregiver. I expect that your husband will learn more about his condition and possible interventions as a result of this appointment. That would be a great time to ask questions, but be prepared and open to hearing that some of these issues are 'normal' in patients with cirrhosis.
