I’m on Evenity and have been told that I’ll have to take Fosamax after. I’m more afraid of Fosamax than Evenity.

Good evening @susanfalcon52. I am glad you are taking advantage of a medication that builds new bone. Evenity also is able to protect the bone for you. Please share with me what our fear is if you use Fosamax after your year on Evenity. I took Tymlos for 2 years and now take Fosamax. My experience is good without any noticeable side effects. Next spring I will have my two-year scans. I hope the results indicate that I have more protection from osteoporosis.
When will you have your first follow-up scans?

I think I would be more afraid of Denosumad ( Prolia ) or Ibandronate sodium ( Boniva ).
I am also going to start hormone optimization with biotech.
I too am faced with starting another med after Evenity. I am only 3 months in so far with Evenity.
