Cortisone shots aren't necessarily bad for everyone, just those of us who've taken Levaquin, (They exacerbate the symptoms.) Ginger and tumeric are good for inflammation. They're in a lot of supplements, too. My doctor put me on a low-acid, high alkaline diet (25% acidic and 75% alkaline.) But then he adjusted that to include no gluten, refined sugar, or dairy (except Greek yoghurt). Since you don't know yet what's causing your inflammation, why not try the alkaline/acid diet first and see if it helps? Pretty sure you can find it online. If that doesn't help, get stricter and cut out gluten, sugar, and dairy. But I really, really do recommend seeing a functional medicine doctor for guidance and to order blood tests and hair analysis. Hope this helps. You probably won't feel better right away. It took me a few months.
