Thanks for posting the NY Times story. Having survived stage IV pancreatic cancer, I began mentoring pancreatic cancer patients for many years now. A number of times I traveled to meet patients to help them navigate and started a friendship with patient and family members.

A few years ago I read a patient story on #LetsWinPC.org of a patient with a similar gene mutation and was being treated with the same drug I had received years earlier in a clinical trial. We made contact and became fast and good friends and are in weekly contact. We have also gotten together several times and we started a collaboration of helping pancreatic cancer patients from around the world. Below is the link to our story.
