Have the same problem. Have to sleep sitting up. Only get 2-4 hours. Absolutely exhausted.` Use a lot of cough syrup.
It worked temporarily, but he mucous I have, or sinusitis was not gone at that time and still isn't so until that's gone, I don't think the surgery will help.
OK so early days, but I think SOLVED.
Are you taking Effexor / Venlafaxine. I am 300mg/daily.
Its not a reported side effect other than anecdotally, BUT having tapered my venlafaxine down to 150mg over a two week period I am now almost without the night time sinus problems. I would go lower but I'm dealing with big life stuff right now so don't want to drop much further for a while.
I though it was covid, but I started the venlafaxine at much the same time. I wonder if I'm not alone in this as there's very little out there to support my findings, but the symptoms are 90% better and I would imagine evn better if I could reduce the dose further.
If you are on Venlafaxine and considering reducing I found this amazing calculator to do it. Go for Hyperbolic tapering and I went for 18 months to reduce the likelihood of withdrawal , but you will see that the big doses come down quickly and the low doses peter out uber slowly.

I hope this helps someone else!!
All of the symptoms you are talking about I also have and in addition I have a bad case of tinnitus which is extremely irritating I have had nasal surgery with no help in the issue very frustrating and I agree my quality of life is suffering I to as a child had bad allergies or hay fever but have out grown that 2o years ago since I am now 67 years old so I don't know the answer nor does anybody else I am currently in two long haul programs one with Cleveland clinic and one with UC Medical center. Let me know if you come across anything that works.
