Does heat help your pain? ThermaCare makes pads for nearly every body part, and includes shoulders and hands/fingers. The heat lasts for 12 hours. Unfortunately, they are not reusable or covered by insurance. They run about $4/pad, so daily use adds up.

Yes! I use a product called Bed Buddy that I purchased for $10. I bought two, one for the freezer and the other for the microwave. I use around my neck throughout the day but your idea would help during sleep as I cannot use the bed buddy to sleep. Funny, it is called a bed buddy but is not comfortable position to sleep, haha.
