yes, but in my case it is unrelated to surgery. It is called polyuria nocturia. More urine is produced at night and relatively little during the day. I have been told it results from the kidney's overproduction of urine at night. Normally there is a hormone called desmopressin which makes the kidneys less active at night. Apparently this can wane as you get older leading to nighttime bathroom visits. It is a very frustrating problem. I have seen a number of doctors about it with no real resolution. I would love to know if anyone has had any success dealing with this problem.
