Is a Spiculated lung nodule always malignant?

I have had a nodule followed for 2-3 years. This spring it had grown a little and looked like adenocarcinoma. Had biopsy that confirmed that diagnosis. Stage 1. Just finished radiation. Supposed to be curable. Another scan in 3 months.

Similar to you, I have had a nodule followed for several years. Mine grew by 4 millimeters over the past two years, and is now 14 mm. I will be having biopsy in August. If mine is malignant, i would prefer treatment by radiation rather than surgery. Could you tell me about your radiation treatment. Was it by Cyberknife or some other method? How many radiation treatments did you have? Most importantly, how are you doing now? Any recurrence? I am hoping that you are well. Sincerely, Connie

How are you doing? I hope all is well. I have a lung nodule that grew a bit and am heading to a biopsy. Did you have biopsy via bronchoscopy or needle? And after diagnosis that it was adenocarcinoma, how did you decide on radiation instead of surgery? I do hope that you are doing fine. I'm Connie.
