What pillow works for you to help reduce pain?
Can anyone in the chronic pain community recommend a pillow that they absolutely love, that helps ease neck and back pain,(especially those who are side sleepers) and where they got it. Conversely, I also welcome product names and types that you all have personally tried and failed. Thus helping me to navigate through the numerous amount of products that exist on the market these days.
Thank you, and best regards, and I hope everyone is making it through one more day.
Sincerely,
Brandon

I just use 2 goose down pillows - they mold to your comfort. I like the softness. All have to sleep on their sides with back or cervical problems.
A buckwheat pillow is great as you can mold it any way you want. It is the only one that works for me.
Dear Jane,
Thank you for your response. Do you mind me asking where you purchased
yours, are their variations, how long you've owned one etc.
I got one from a company on line who is now selling their business. I have
had one for at least 10 years. You can get them online at amazon, com. Get
the organic kind made in the USA. Good luck.
I suggested down pillows, which have been in existence for centuries
probably. Mine is not new, getting over 25 years old, and they can be
washed. Of course down feathers tend to come out, one at a time you
will see one peek out. My down sofa is the same way. One can purchase
down pillows in any good store. They are very soft, but you can punch
them around for comfort. Mine may have lost too many feathers through
the years, so I use two. ladujane85
I have a down pillow but what helps me the most is horseshoe shaped pillow. I put it around my neck and then lay on my pillow. I'm a side sleeper. This allows my neck to have the pillow to lean on instead of nothing, I hope this is clear to you because it's helped me so much.
I also sleep with a horseshoe shaped pillow that is filled with flexible
stuffing (got it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond). That plus some physical
therapy and a neck stretching device that I use at home have helped my
cervical issues considerably. It was the physical therapist that
suggested getting the device after trying it in therapy. I also sleep
with a pillow between my legs for hip issues. All of that plus my CPAP
machine gives this almost 74-year-old a great night's sleep!
