Always best to check with your doctor or physical therapist to be sure, but I am 5 weeks out from right THR and have experienced some pains in both legs (glutes and shins) that seem to be tied to how much walking I am doing. I had bone-on-bone osteoarthritis in right hip and had been consistently limping since February of this year so I am assuming the pain is caused by reawakening muscles that weren’t being used that much before surgery as well as changing how other muscles might have been compensating prior to surgery. If you are having a lot of pain that doesn’t change day to day, you should check with your doctor. Best of luck with your continued recovery.
I wonder if your gait has changed since surgery? Two suggestions I will make - new shoes, especially for walking, so you can break them in based on your new gait.
And if the problem persists, a trip to PT to have your gait evaluated - I needed this after hip revision to relearn how not to limp.

Certainly is. The surgeon splits the muscle so it needs time to heal and repair. I am finding Prodeinextra three times a day is magic
I’m out 7 weeks from right THR, and have no pain—in fact, my pain vanished immediately after surgery.
I’d contact your surgeon and ask for a followup appointment with X-ray. Perhaps there’s been some movement in the implant.
Good luck to you.
