I love Sketchers but it’s getting harder to find ones that you tie. The slip/ons don’t work w my neuropathy.

Lisa - I really wish my hands weren’t affected severely by my Neuropathy, as I would REALLY like to be able to tie shoes so I could make sure the shoes provided the ankle and heel area support I need. My feet are skinny in those areas, and as much as I’d sometimes prefer a little more toe room, wider shoe brands almost always have loose heel/ankle support which is not safe or comfortable for me. As for Skechers, since my shoes need to be slip-on, have you tried Skechers Ghent model? They have elastic loop looking “laces” that you don’t tie but are like rubber bands to help keep the shoe snug. Yes, I suppose they lose a little elasticity over time, but I’ve usually worn the shoes out by then. Good luck in your search, I know it’s hard, and as soon as we get settled on a brand, our feet needs change on us…
