Septorhinoplasty

Hi everyone,
I just had a septorhinoplasty 16 days ago and as of now, I am devastated with the results. My nose is still as crooked as before and its tip is so high I look like I have a pig snout. My surgeon says the tip will eventually drop and that I have to tape my nose to straighten it. I also have little a cut with sutures on top of my right nostril which is not healing very well (the skin on one side of the cut sticks out more than the other) . I don’t want to get out of my house because I don't want anyone to see me like this so I haven’t gone back to work. I am so anxious I can’t sleep at night. Did my surgeon ruin my nose?

Hi Colleen, Thank you so much for checking on me. Unfortunately, things have not improved for me. 🙁 I’ve been trying to not look at myself in the mirror because it makes me want to cry. I still don’t want to go out. I only go out when I have an appointment with my surgeon. I’m still avoiding people because I don’t want anyone to look at me.
