Have you looked into Meniere's disease? https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/menieres-disease/symptoms-causes/syc-20374910

I'm not a doctor or an audiologist, so I may be off-base. Have you consulted with an ENT specialist?

Thanks for your help. I had an ENT but she quit the field during Covid. I haven't yet made an appointment with an ENT recommended by my audiologist, but it's on my to do list! Thanks for the nudge!
