I am upset for you. Reminds me of my diagnosis epic.
A couple of ideas for getting help:
1. Check to see if your health insurance company has a nurse consultant program. It should be free, especially since you have a chronic disease diagnosis now. My second nurse was very, very helpful. Our conversations could be tedious-- repeating a lot of doctor stuff, but the results were helpful.
The company is shelling out a lot of money for your care. It is in their interest to get your health issues resolved. So, don't hesitate to access that service.
2. Consider paying out of pocket for a concierge doctor. I haven't done this yet myself, but my friend has. My friend found it very effective. Cost him about $2,500.
3. Double check that all of your records are accessible by all of your doctors.
4. Consider going to a university hospital or a place like Mayo Clinic or Johns Hopkins.
You are so young (I'm an old gebeezer). I hate to hear about you going through this ordeal.
Best of luck to you. Please keep us posted on your progress.
