I’ve been experiencing same pain for past two years. Horrible! I’ve been to numerous doctors seeking solutions during this time. Pelvic floor therapy to help release tension in muscles can help. I’ve been using a compounded cream consisting of gamapentin, amitriptyline and baclofen that a doctor has to prescribe through a specialty pharmacy. I’ve found some yoga videos on UTube by Dr Bri that are helpful for relaxing the pelvic floor. I saw a pelvic pain specialist at Cleveland Clinic who prescribed oral gabapentin but I haven’t tried it yet. She also wants to try Botox. I have also done a pudental nerve block which did confirm at least some of my pain is originating from that nerve. I also always sit on a donut type pillow in the car. I also use a pelvic wand at home which helps between my therapy sessions. I hope some of this may help you. It truly is a terrible pain to live with. I wish you well.

I’m so sorry you are going through this and hope you find some relief. I have always thought I had a high pain tolerance but you are absolutely right, it’s horrible!
May I ask, did you have a hysterectomy that started this?
Unfortunately we live in a very small town and my options are very limited.
Thank you so much for your suggestions! I so appreciate them!!
