Has anyone tried creatine for post covid fatigue?

Posted by bmd @bmd, Sep 22, 2023

I read an article recently about taking creatine to help with post covid fatigue. I was wondering if anyone here has tried it.

That sounds great. Was suggested to me by a very smart friend of mine who researches everything.
Sounds like it’s worth a try for sure. I’ve resigned myself that these issues will be with me for the rest of my days, but maybe the creatine can help manage them better.

Thank you so much for sharing this information. Have you looked into Stellate Ganglion Block? If so, what is your opinion?

Personally, I don’t like injections into nerves. But I haven’t researched it well. I suppose some people may feel the potential benefits outweigh any possible risks. I’m not an expert about this procedure.

I just read about this yesterday.
After three months of taking creatine, patients also registered 'significantly improved scores' for other several long-Covid related symptoms, such as breathing difficulties, body aches, headache and brain fog – and further improved scores after a six-month follow-up.

was there mention of internal tremors?
i am finding LDN has given me a lot of energy back, but
not helped with the tremors at all.

I have also experienced internal and external tremors; once taken to ER for them. In my long Covid journey, nothing helped them but time. I’m grateful that I experience them no longer. I hope yours leave you as well.

thank you for responding. how long before it passed?

mine started almost exactly a year ago.
some symptoms have gone through changes over time. others are consistent.
there is no pain. i get sudden muscle spasms, vibrations, tingling, vertigo, fatigue, etc. pretty much standard symptoms. no bad blood tests, MRIs or CT scans.
since taking LDN i have been able to get a good part of my life back.

I still get unnerving rumblings in my head but body vibrations stopped after about a year. That said, I still experience muscle spasms in my feet. My first infection was 3/22; my second this past February.
Many of my symptoms abated after the first year, but most have returned a few months post second infection. Body Tremors have not.

sorry to hear that you were reinfected…with renewed symptoms. this is such a difficult passage.
my symptoms started with my feet. i imagine yours did too.
i can live with foot issues, but not the tremors and not knowing if they will stay or go.
i want to try creatine. and if that doesn’t work, will try one of the nasty drugs the neurologist wants me to take.
thanks again.
