C. difficile And diverticulosis

Guys. I am 32 and stressed out.

I started with diverticulitis and the doctors now think I have C. difficile. I have lost over 20 pounds on this journey of not eating really since January. Can someone please shed some light on how u were feeling with cdiff other than the bowel what else did u experience.

I’m back with another c diff episode and I have also had the sigmoid reconstruction surgery. I need help guys cause now I have acid reflux

Didn't your doctor give you antibiotics for the C-diff? I got it in January after taking too much antibiotics for a UTI. There is a special antibiotic for C-diff. I also have diverticulosis and gastritis.

I have all that also and I just got acid reflux. Something gotta give I’m miserable

Yep that's it. The family is talking about taking a family vacation to Japan next year. What on earth could someone that is gluten free (sensitivity) going to eat. That and Chinese are the two hardest foods for me to find something and I love them both.

There is also a newer Antibiotic than Vancomycin. It is called DIFICID (Fidaxomicin). It works different than Vancomycin. It kills the Bacteria (bactericidil) versus Vancomycin that inhibits the growth (bacteriostatic).

I’m going to ask. But something is missing me up and I don’t think the vancomycin is even working this my second round.

Like so many of the Antibiotics out there, I have heard that Vancomycin isn't quite as good as it use to be. Ask your Doctor about DIFICID (Fidaxomicin).

Like so many of the Antibiotics out there, I have heard that Vancomycin isn't quite as good as it use to be. Ask your Doctor about DIFICID (Fidaxomicin).

I go on Tuesday I’m going to ask because now I’m suffering with acid reflux all day so I’m still not eating well
