I spoke to the manufacturers of both, Tymlos and Forteo, each told me weight gain was not a noted side effect. Fun fact: once they pass clinical trials and get their FDA clearance, they do not do further research or testing of the drug. That means 32 years for Forteo, and about 10 years for Tymlos where no further testing was done to identify any other side effects. Its all about the $$$$
