When was your surgery? I know what you mean. I read that some people are up and back to norm in six weeks. I'm still the same at six months! I'm so sorry you're having so much pain. I don't have any words of wisdom. Wish I did. I can only commiserate with you. Do you have pain at night also? Good luck with your recovery. Maybe one day you'll wake up and have no pain. I hope it's soon.

I’m now 9 1/2 months post op and finally beginning to see some improvement. Pain at night while trying to sleep is almost gone. I do take ibuprofen at night if my leg is aching after being on my feet all day (but Pain is worse after sitting). MRI shows slight tear in a tendon.☹️
You too will improve. It just takes longer for some of us. I do better if I use a hiking stick on my right side when taking a walk of 1-2 miles. 3 miles seems to be my max and I have to go slow or hip starts to hurt. I guess I’m not a very patient person. I wanted to be like everyone else I talked to who did great after a month!! I’m glad I found this site and now know I’m not the only one!
