Robbie - Aah, the "episodic" asthma is another reason why the Blexten works for you - the montelukast component is commonly used to help keep airways open and lower inflammation in them. My husband doesn't have asthma, but does have allergies, and another lung condition caused by rheumatoid arthritis.
I, on the other hand have asthma, hyperreactive airways, allergies and another more rare lung disease...and Azalastine has helped me cut down on the number of allergy meds I need but wasn't quite the "magic bullet it was for him.
I'm so glad you found a combination that works!
Sue

Interesting, isn't it, that I just 'happened upon this' after years of taking prescribed meds that didn't work!!! We definitely have to advocate for ourselves and do our own research... the docs (at least here in Ontario) are overwhelmed. It sounds like you're very informed and I sincerely hope you find the 'magic bullet' soon. Sleep is a blessing!!!
