I'm so glad your husband found a solution... it's taken me 79 years!!! LOL I didn't realize Blexten isn't available in the U.S. It works like a charm. I have Omnaris as well, but it doesn't seem to do anything, nor did the antihistamine .. ceterazine. It's just heavenly to sleep through the night and wake up feeling human. Does your husband have asthma? Seems I have 'episodic' asthma.. triggered by various things. By the way... Blexten is in pill form.

Robbie - Aah, the "episodic" asthma is another reason why the Blexten works for you - the montelukast component is commonly used to help keep airways open and lower inflammation in them. My husband doesn't have asthma, but does have allergies, and another lung condition caused by rheumatoid arthritis.
I, on the other hand have asthma, hyperreactive airways, allergies and another more rare lung disease...and Azalastine has helped me cut down on the number of allergy meds I need but wasn't quite the "magic bullet it was for him.
I'm so glad you found a combination that works!
