Bless you! I am excited for you. I pray it continues for you. I am going to do my research on this and hopefully it will be a good fit for me too. I am right there with you with the spitting and choking on this mucosy saliva.

Unfortunately, Blexten (bilastine plus monteleukast) is a prescription medication not approved in the US; it is available in Canada and Europe.

There are other antihistamines available, though. Azelastine (name brand Astepro, generic available) is an antihistamine nasal spray used twice a day. There are prescription and over the counter versions. My husband has been clearing his throat constantly for over 50 years due to postnasal drip/sinus drainage. He tried this for seasonal allergies to try to get off the 3 or more antihistamine meds he was taking daily. Not only did it work for the allergies, he has quit clearing his throat completely.
