I'm on Tymlos with with no issue, but I'm not petite nor do I have any medical background. Scan the comments as a few women have reduced their dosage and are much happier. Best wishes, Sarah

To be clear, I suggested a long time ago that we can do a reduced dose in order to give our bodies time to adjust. Starting low enabled me to take Tymlos when a full dose was not possible.

However, the goal should be to get as close to a full dose as tolerable and there WILL be side effects for many of us, even at a partial dose. The key is whether they are tolerable, which they have been for me. Some will not be able to tolerate and some will do fine.

I did mostly 6 or 7 clicks of the pen out of 8 for a good part of my two year treatment and for the last months did the full 8. I had excellent gains (DEXA was before I got to full dose). So 3/4 dose is far better than nothing. Still, the goal is to ramp up as high as possible.
