Yes dear. I know how you feel. I am 66 and have some of the same feelings. I don't struggle with the physical problems yo have fortunately but the isolation, low self esteem and loneliness are unbearable at times.

It is so hard, when our bodies don't meet up to our expectations. Our minds as well. One day I was youthful and it seems the next. I'm assigning things over to my son. Home, property etc. My CVSD is chronic , I can tell my mind is going downward. Of course stress makes it worse . It's always on my mind of what's to come.

So sorry, but know you are not alone!

Hello!

If you find this isolation, low self-esteem and loneliness unbearable then please how are you bearing it since I cannot but for living on survival instinct?
This rips me apart daily (64 years old) with only the need to breathe keeping me trying.
Never in my life have I lived alone before, probably making things worse. Reality is too real.
If you do reply, do not worry if you are depressed also.
Sorry this post is such a downer, but it is...

Best of health, Edward

I do know how you feel. I spent 4 years isolating myself because of depression exacerbated by that loneliness. I was able to pull out of it for the most part with help from my therapist. She recommended that I get a caseworker from a local organization. Because the caseworker worked hard to get me out on occasion to a group he hosts, I got much better. It has helped me feel like myself again, and I'm on over 20 medications for health problems. All you can do is try.

It’s really hard.

your only 64 wait till you reach 80 yrs old then come back and tell me about what you could do and what you can do when your 80. at least you can still go to the Pub and have a Beer I can't even go to the mail box without a walking frame to stop me falling over
