I soak my stuff in dishwashing liquid and a capful of bleach....and hot water. I put my morning apparatus in the bowl, then in the evening after my second session, I put all that apparatus in the bowl. An hour later I rinse it all in hot water, really good. I lay it all out in a long, pyrex dish (one layer).

Meanwhile I boil a large pot of water on the stove for about ten minutes. Then I pour the boiling water over all the pieces in the dish. (I cover them completely. ) I let it sit til the water cools. I shake each piece out really good, lay them all on paper towels, and let them air dry. I cover them with another paper towel, cause we have a lot of dust in our house. The next morning everything is dry, and clean as a whistle. (I found that frequent boiling of the items was deteriorating them, even though the directions said it was ok.) I came up with this routine and it's working great for me. Easy, peasey!) Bon

Have you tried the baby bottle sterilizer? I have found that a real time saver. I wash and rinse each piece after using and put in the baby bottle sterilizer. After the last airway clearance of the day, I turn the sterilizer on and the next morning all are clean and dry.. (oh, I leave the top off after putting the 1dt ones earlier in the day

I actually do the same as raney everyday. I would be terrified to use bleach but we have to do what works best for us individually.

I am more confused than ever. My instructions were to wash neb parts and arobika in hot water with soap and rinse and let dry every day then sterilize once a week. My water is over 130 degrees. I use antibacterial dove dish soap. I use microwave bags and distilled water to sterilize. The hospital did not sterilize all this stuff every day (in particular the arobika). In fact they did not sterilize it at all during the week.
