Autism and steroids

Has anyone ever heard of prednisone helping behavioral problems with kids with autism?

It could help those that have the type of autism that also has high inflammation in the brain. But a side effect is possible diabetes (which I have seen without a family history.)
One way to tell if somebody with autism has the brain inflammation is if a lot of the meltdowns and behavioral issues and such calm down during a fever. During a fever the brain is flooded with anti-inflammation something that goes away when the fever goes away. I don't have linx handy but I'm sure you could look it up
