I have a well differentiated metastatic liver tumor removed two years ago. I was getting lanreotide shots monthly but they caused severe diarrhea and tiredness so I got off of them. I was told the drug treats the symptoms but doesn’t shrink the tumor. It’s so confusing to me. Is the drug meant to keep me alive longer or not? I always wonder nightly if I’m going to wake up in the morning or how much longer I have. 🤷♀️
