How do you find relief from constant anxiety 24/7?
I have been prescribed Seroquel 200mg at bedtime. Also Xanax .5 mg 3x day. But it does not seem to be helping with the all over since of panic and nervous tingling in my arms and face.
My doctor suggested that I increase Seroquel to 250 mg, then next night up to max of 300mg. My starting dose was 50mg 3 weeks ago.
Has anyone had any relief from anxiety while taking Seroquel?

Root cause is the only way I have decreased my anxiety. Sometimes my anxiety is 'out of this world' because the root cause of most my anxiety is fear. At those times, medication helps me calm down so I can get things in perspective. But I no longer depend upon the meds to eliminate anything. I fear the world we are in most of all. That covers a lot of situations I cannot control. I can control my little environment though most of the time, And I can change how I approach my anxiety. I can change myself but not the weather. I can change my thoughts but no one else's'. I control nothing. That is God's job.
I have. I’ve been on seroquel for a few years and I take 100mg at bedtime. It’s working fine. I fall asleep an hour after I take it. Seroquel is not addictive like benzodiazepines. Google it. You can develop a routine and like any routine you can get used to taking it but as far as being addictive it isn’t. The only thing is you may have trouble sleeping for about a week. After that you should be good to go.
Do you sleep through the night?
Yes I fall asleep about 1 hour after I take seroquel . My body starts to wind down to I have to get off my smartphone and hit the pillow
Good evening @jomomma1., Yes, I have tried Buspar. In fact, I think it has done a lot to modify my anxiety and leave me as calm as possible. My PCP suggested it and I am thrilled. I was diagnosed with GAD and have been struggling with the pain which seemed to follow the anxiety everywhere. How much do you take every day? I take 10 mg in the morning and at bedtime. Anxiety also affects my executive functioning process for planning and completing tasks and projects. Tasks seem so much easier now.
How long have you been taking it?
May you be content and have peace.
