I too take florastor. I had c-diff in 2011 and was in the hospital and they gave it to me then and my specialist said to continue. But that was a long time ago so do not know what is really recommended today.
I know the studies say that probiotics do not prevent C-diff. But do they help repopulate the intestine with healthy bacteria????
And I have avoided broad based antibiotics since 2011 (it was amoxicillin given me by my dentist that caused my C-diff)
