@trishanna @lilypaws I have started drinking Fairlife milk. I started because it's lactose-free and I have become lactose intolerant but it also has more protein. Fairlife makes some high protein drinks too that aren't bad.
I would like to find a protein powder, maybe I will look into the vanilla Nature's Bounty Complete Protein & vitamins.
I am finding dieting and eating everything I am supposed to eat to be a challenge.

@trishanna There are a lot of protein powders, even at Hyvee. Whey Powder is the best, but I get at Hyvee the vanilla Nature's Bounty complete Protein & vitamins, chocolate is too strong that's what I found out.' It is uniquely formulated blend of Protein & Vitamin nutients. It says it's for woman, but does have 2 mg of sugar and I think it would be perfect for your husband too. It has collagen,,fiber, and Probiotics in it I hope this help, but if you go too a natural food store they could help you pick one out too. My husband orders a whey one from
Amazon, but I don't l don't like the flavor, It has 30 mg of protein, where mine only has 15 mg. I hope this helps.
