I have had small temporary relief after 6 therapy treatments. I will try 3 more this week and decide if further treatment will help.

Hello @mdfriel, Welcome to Connect. It's good to ask questions and learn as much as you can about a treatment including the pros and cons. Here's a research article on the treatment in case you haven't already seen it.

Are you considering Calmare scrambler therapy?

Yes I am. I have had 8 kyphoplasties on vertebrae’s in my spine and I also have a failed spinal cord stimulator. I had the generator removed but the leads are still in my spine. I live in severe chronic pain every day and have researched the calmare scrambler and have talked to Dr Cooney at his clinic in Rutherford NJ.

Also I was wondering if anyone has used Dr Cooney and found the Calmare scrambler to be successful.

Stroke in 2018 left me with central pain syndrome. Treated with meds. Can scrambler therapy offer any relief for central pain syndrome as a result of stroke?

Thank you so much. I will be reading this
Actually , I found the info re scrambler while I was researching.I mentioned it to my neurologist who feels we have exhausted every option he knows if to no avail. He encourages me to
continue to explore new
therapies that are non invasive.
