I had to stop taking Evenity after the 5th dose. As I stated on another blog " My Experience on Evenity for treating Osteoporosis". My side effects in the beginning were manageable: headache, tiredness a little brain fog. But after the fourth dose I started having lower back pain, my BP starting getting higher and I started getting palpitations. My MD didn't seem concerned. After the fifth dose my palpitations were keeping me up at night and I got scared. I am a healthy 62 year old with no other health issues besides OP. I stopped on my own. I am still dealing with the palpitations unfortunately. I recently went to another MD an Endocrinologist this time, she truly listened to my concerns and stated I needed to be on a bisphosphonate to " lock in" any gains I got from taking the Evenity. My DEXA scan had no improvement at all but she felt that I needed a short term (12 month) course of a medication. I choose to go on Fosamax instead of Reclast. Everyone is unique in their journey with OP so I encourage you to do your research and get educated on the benefits/side effects possible with this medication. I also encourage you to get the book " Great Bones" by R Keith McCormick, excellent book with a lot of information and knowledge by the author who also has OP. Good luck with your decision, you have a lot of support on this site.
