Is the nerve pain in your feet? If so, 5 percent lidocaine patches may help. My podiatrist prescribed mine. They were life-changing for me in terms of pain control.
Thanks for answering me I think that I’m going to die from sleep deprivation because I lay awake screaming and crying all night from the pain being so agonizing but now I’m in a nursing home unable to walk or even stand up anymore. I don’t know how much medical care that I will have access to being in this place waiting to die of agonizing pain and sleep deprivation. Thanks Foxylloyd
Sadly, I say this: Neuropathy is not curable (I am talking about peripheral neuropathy). All doctors have told me this. As for treatable, I don't think it is either. Everybody has to search and choose for something that gives you relief. It might not work for others. I have tried just about everything but when the nerves flare up, there is nothing I can do. Good luck to everybody, I pray for you all.

Yes Peripheral Neuropathy is definitely curable, but will very hard going was the advice ZI received from two of Australia’s top neurologists after I advised them that I am practicing Neuroplasticity. I am now 92 and experiencing small but definite and measurable progress.
I tried those and they didn’t help me much either because the pain is just too severe.
Those didn’t help much for me and the pain in my face hurts a lot worse than ever before.
Do you take Pregablin? It helps me so much with pain.
I also take a sleeping pill every night.
Try Pregabalin a prescription from your Dr. It has really helped me. Much better than Gabapentin for me.
I did and it worked better than Gabapentin but the side effects (constipation) made it not doable. Thanks
Does ambien not help you sleep? I can be in really bad pain-take an ambien and go to sleep for the whole night
Thanks for the hug. foxylloyd
I wish that the doctor would give me some ambien to get some sleep. They gave me amatriptaline in the hospital but took it away when I left. foxylloyd
Yes I take Lyrica twice a day but I really need sleeping pills. foxylloyd
