Agree! It can be stressful and hard to stand up for yourself when doctors push hard for patients to take these meds, but as you said, we must be our own advocate for our bodies.

I'm 74 and just had my bone density test. My doctor called me to let me know I have an elevated risk for fractures, and osteopenia. She gave me the OPTION of taking Fosomax. Can anyone share their experience with that drug? I'm currently taking Arimidex. UUGG!
