Thank you, Kandi! I am not the creator of the orchestra analogy, that came from a young doctor in Rochester in the first few months after my transplant. The vivid description stayed with me not only at that time but also 3 years ago when I had a major cancer surgery with significant remaining issues. I am cancer free at this point but have paid a high price for that. My orchestra has not yet found its tune but the transplant survived it all like a champion.
