Hi @tsc, Thank you for your note. I'm having quite a hard time eating, I'm thinking nausea, GI upset due to me being on two powerful IV meds for 6 weeks postop (I'm at 3+). Again, trying to explain it on something outside me, outside my control, that it will go away. But I have lost 60 pounds gone from elite athlete to frail cardiac cripple since my first open heart 3 years ago. I have to acknowledge that and realize my malnutrition is not just six weeks of IV meds postop. It's something bigger, I have a good doctor thinking about it, but it's all such an important reminder of something to me. For all of us recovering from something (which is basically everyone in the world, no?), the path to greater self-awareness and care may reveal problems unrelated to the crisis point. Problems that need attention outside the central focus of postop recovery. Anyways...wishing you a happy and fulfilling Sunday, ef
