Anyone tried Dry Needling or Acupuncture for Pain or Neuropathy?
Has anyone had any luck with either dry needling or acupuncture? I have tried each of them one time. But made my feet tingle more. The PT who was administering the dry needling said that it goes through a cycle of pain to get better. I wasn’t too sure on that. Anyone?

I’ve had it done. Was told the site would be tender. Nothing about a cycle. Dry needling is supposed to relax the muscle spasm.
I’ve had it done for tennis elbow . It did absolutely nothing for me. On top of that it cost a couple hundred dollars .
I've had 2 accupuncture trements for mild neropathy of feet following successful radiation and chemo for esophageal cancer tumor in lower esophagus. It seems to have helped a little and I will continue for a few more treatments. There is no charge since doc has grant for study of neropathy. I too would like to hear about success stories?
Be aware that there may be pain if one of the needles hits a nerve. I was in a lot of pain for days. The first treatment for the muscle spasm in my butt was great. They told me I should do it at least two more times. The second time was the disaster. And both treatments had no effect on the neuropathy.
I need to edit my comment above, but I don't see that option. Re: The pain I experienced for days was from the second dry needling.
Every night just before I retire for the night I take two Magnesium gummies and use hemp cream on my feet, toes and upper thigh. For me that works. Good Luck.
My son was helped with acupunture for tennis elbow (he owns pizza restaurant and throws pizza all day) and my husband was helped for severe bk injury at work with pain due to herniated disc. Both are completely fine now and both had been told by doctors they needed surgery. It took about 4 -6 months of treatment from well known chinese acupuncture in memphis. I went about 12 times for neuropathy and saw no improvement but I don't have pain .
Unfortunately acupuncture did nothing for my back pain or feet neuropathy. I’m still looking for relief
What is the dosage of the magnesium gummies?7
400 mgs each. The Hemp cream is: Dr. Joel's Maximum strength which I have to put on my toes, the bottoms of my feet and upper thighs. I am going to forgo the cream as I did last night and had no problems. Good Luck.
P.S. I was taking the Magnesium morning and night and thought that was probably too much with 1600mgs per day so I have cut back to just 800mgs. per day. We'll see how that works. The Maggnesium I use is by: Holistic Method vegan natural cherry flavor made in the USA. In my opinion you should have a blood test to see where you may have some deficiencies. I am scheduled to do that again soon as I think I am taking too many suppliments per day. Good Luck and Good Healtlh to you, bassinga.
