What's outside of your picture window today?
As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?
For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:

Physical activity!
The in-our-face solution to just about every problem, be it physical, emotional, even spiritual.
It certainly has worked for me for eight decades...makes sure I can walk a dozen floors without having to rest.
And virtually no pains, no meds, no doctor/experts visits
Sometimes the freest and most easily accessible remedies are also the most effective.
Isn't life generous.
Oh, don't forget to have your pet get some exertion too. My cat, I've to make him jump from counter to floor a dozen time a day besides some roughhousing
@sueinmn and all...What a precious boy you found! I love 12-year-old sons and grandsons, it's a great age, not so much into rebellion or whatever yet, and still enjoy family. Sue, you enjoy your family so much. I love to hear about your and their antics. I love hostas but surprised you transplanted them when blooming. I thought I should wait until the fall or early spring. I bet anything you plant no matter the time does well with your compost and the years of knowledge you have. And, you're sharing your knowledge with your family, children who will follow in your steps. Love it! He did a great job and a lot of work. Be sure to give him an extra scoop of ice cream...
Good to hear from you.
Blessings, Elizabeth
I'm baking a cake today for our snack tomorrow - I'll remember to get some ice cream too.
Now I'm heading out to do my part -getting the little dug-up plants relocated.

I love the deer! And twins! 🙂
Wow, Elizabeth, what a beautiful building! You look great too! Sorry about the challenges you have to endure, but thank you for sharing the photos!
It was 116 out there today. I saw the birds walking around with their beaks open in an attempt to get cool. I put the fresh hummingbird nectar in the fridge before I put it out so the poor things would not get boiling hot water too quickly!
HOA forbids us from putting out birdbaths and feeders. We have a “wild animal” problem around here if we start feeding them.
Both of these beautiful predators were in the same area in my neighborhood. I only had my iPhone when the coyote was walking toward me. Too bad I didn't have my good camera, but I found him in the same area the next night along with the Coopers Hawk and did have my good camera with me. Right when I was taking pix, I heard an elderly lady yelling for her tiny dog to get back in the house. Luckily, I was able to corral it back in before it became dinner for one of these two predators.
@californiazebra Yep, that little dog would have been a little snackie for either one of them!

I don't know if his comment belongs here, but anyway here goes. My oldest son lives in Asia and because of the pandemic was not able to attend his father's funeral. He is here now on a quick visit. Yesterday we went to the cemetery. I looked at my husband's plaque and quickly went back to the car leaving my son alone to do his grieving. When I got in the car I more or less fell apart. Is this what I get for 59 years of marriage? A plaque? I was beyond crying. I screamed and screamed and screamed. I really felt like my heart was in pain and I wondered how I could be in so much pain and not have a heart attack. Of course eventually all stopped. But I don't know if I can ever go back there again.
I'm so sorry Marilyn. 59 years... you must have had so many wonderful experiences and now have so many memories. I'm sure you've heard a lot of sweet comments from people who love and care for you, and though I don't know you I just want to encourage you that it WILL get better. I pray that the God of all comforts will give you His peace. ❤️
