@trinitylm welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. My experience with Mental Health comes from being a licensed (M.A. level) psychologist. My experience with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) comes from being a care giver of a man that had MS. My experience has taught me that physical conditions have a profound effect on mental health. All the various aspects of an individual (physical, mental, emotional & spiritual) need to be addressed for optimal health and wholeness. I am unfamiliar with Mayo’s psychiatry department but their other departments have stellar reputations. Mayo typically takes a collaborative approach to get to the bottom of problems.
