So sorry to hear about your issues, I am going for an mri in two weeks to check for tears and look at my ischial bursitis. (Was supposed to be yesterday, but some RX snafoo)
Really is miserable, so I feel for you.
How did they diagnose and are they giving you anything for the pain? Did they recommend light PT or just rest/time to heal?
Hope they can come up with something to help and if they do, please share!

I found out from a MRI. The Dr was actually looking for SI Joint Problems. I do have so SI problems but they can be managed with SI joint Injections. The Dr I saw said I need a new hip but also the hamstring tear. They said that they could just try different injections to find one that works for the hamstring. Be ause of my age it's to much on me to fix it. So I have had a SI Joint and a Caudal because sitting is so painful. It really helped. Didn't last to long. Any other ideas ?
