Shockwave or Softwave Therapy for Neuropathy Pain?

I only have numbness and tingling with my neuropathy and have not tried it. While we wait for members with experience to join the discussion here are a couple of references you might find helpful.

Do you mind sharing what type of neuropathy and symptoms you have?

I have Peripheral Neuropathy in both feet now for 3 years. It has gotten much recently, now effecting walking, balance, and constant pain. Shock Wave therapy sounds exciting. Thanks, GBA

I have numbness, prickling or a tingling in both feet which spreads upward into my legs & then jumpy legs at night. Sometimes just a burning pain or an electrical shock out of the blue in a toe. I’ve tried Gabapentin but it left me feeling drugged all the time. I did physical therapy 3 times a week for 5 months & it helped a bit while I was doing it, especially the day of. I take 600mg of ibuprofen in the morning & 600mg more in the afternoon & it keeps me going. As anyone that has any kind of pain knows, we are always looking for relief & hopefully not in a pill or surgical form. Shock wave therapy sounds great & would love to hear if anyone has tried it and their outcome. Thx in advance

Shock waves, (Ultrasound) are widely used for the treatment of epicondylitis and plantar fasciitis and to foster bone and wound healing. But it hasn't worked for me and my neuropathy in my feet. So far, I have done 4 treatments at $350 a treatment. Do the math. If I got the slightest optimistic sign I would continue. This machine, I was told, was invented by the Israeli military. The treatment is ultrasound and a second part that supposed to correct the body from rejecting the initial treatment phase after it ends. This is the best way I could explain it. I am just giving you, my experiences. I am looking for that magic bullet too. Remember, certain things work differently for each person. Neuropathy has restricted my life considerably and I will try almost anything. Good luck to everybody reading this. I wish you all a pain free life!!!

I have used Stem Cell Soft Wave Therapy for a Achilles Injury that I was suppose to have Surgery. It worked FANTASTIC an have had No Pain for 7 Months. Medicare an my Sub Insurance did not cover it cost me $1400 but worth it as operation on Achilles is extremely painful an recovery is a Year

SANEXAS TREATMENT HELPED mea a lot. Use to be covered by Medicare. Electrical stimulation of nerves.

I used Sanexas Treatment 3 years ago it helped me a lot. Was covered by Medicare then but no longer

I have been very impressed. I have had 4/5 treatments. I do them weekly. I have neuropathy that started in my right root w 2 toes and progressed to the bottom of my feet. 2 years latter my other foot same two toes. After 3 years of Accupunture and lots of oral sups I was only able to slightly improve it. Softwave has brought back 40% of the feeling. I plan on continuing with treatment due to such success in such a short time.
