I had Covid more than two years ago and afterward the texture of my hair changed and started to break off —I looked horrible. I had my iron checked and my numbers came back very low for iron and ferritin. Doctor put my on iron pills and over time the condition of my hair has improved and it is somewhat thicker. I suggest getting blood work done to check your iron and ferritin levels. Minoxidil and Rogaine are life-long efforts: if you stop using them, your hair will begin to fall out again. There are vitamins and other supplements that you can take to improve the condition of your hair—and a good diet matters too.

I started using Nutrafol before I had long Covid. My dermatologist suggested it. After using it for 6 months, the hair loss stopped, and my hair is getting thicker. Supposedly it doesn’t always take that long to begin working. You can make an appointment with one of their doctors who will help you choose which formula will be best for you. This is just another option to be considered.
