Urinary Incontinence with Exercise
I get slight incontinence when exercising that cause stress. The leakage requires me to change underwear and sometimes outer clothing. Does anyone have an experience with this, who has solved it using pads and/or diapers. If I try out liner pads to start with, can they be used with traditional boxer shorts?

Hi @tim1028, While we wait for others with experience I thought I would share this reference that might help in the long run.
"Why do I leak urine during my workouts? Bladder leakage during your workout is due to a condition called Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI). SUI is incontinence that occurs when you have a weak pelvic floor or sphincter muscle, and increased pressure is placed on your bladder."

Have you discussed the issue with your doctor or care team to see if there may be some physical therapy or specific exercises like Kegel that might help?
Thanks for your quick reply, John. I had prostate cancer surgery years ago and incontinence at that time, which for all intents and purposes went away as I recovered from surgery. As I've aged the Stress Urinary Incontinence has increased. I will read the helpful links you've provided and also speak to my doctor about this at my Medicare Wellness visit next week.
I also have stress incontinence when I workout. Both running and lifting, which I do 4-5 times a week each. I have found that a light to moderate pad used with briefs works best. The briefs keep the pad in position better than boxers. I also wear a base layer type performance under shorts-worn under looser workout shorts for added confidence. Had my prostatectomy 5 years ago, and had issues since, so have tried a few things. Hope it helps.
You might consider seeking opinion of a pelvic floor specialists as pelvic floor dysfunction may be your issue.
