lip outbreak every period
hello! so everytime i get my period, my lips break out almost in like red bumps. to me, it kinda looks like hives. last period, i had broken out in a cheltitis outbreak (eczema) to the point where it almost looked like cold sores, but was completely painless and left a small scar. besides, i got my period yesterday and my lips broke out, again, in red bumps (but just a little bit raised) that looks like hives. this seems to have just started happening within the last couple of months. i am 18, so i’m not sure if this means my hormones are changing as my body is? should i be worried?

Hi. Sorry you are experiencing this. I’m not a doctor and you should probably get it looked at at least to get a plan.
I used to experience similar with my period. I also have a history of cold sores which tend to be smaller bumps. I treated mine like cold sores and used treatments like Abreva, lysine supplements, and ice. Good luck.
hello! thank you for the suggestion. i do not have a history of cold sores nor have i ever come in contact with the disease as i am very anal about what i share, etc, hahah. but it feels almost like an allergic reaction everytime. thank you for the suggestion.
