At NJH and need to vent

What an awful experience! I can't say much more than others have but my heart goes out to you. It's hard enough dealing with this disease when you DO have physicians that are caring. I'm pretty sure I would have been swimming in a puddle of tears while pitching a little fit! Having said that, and this is not going to be what anyone wants to hear, I've been going to NJH twice, sometimes three times a year depending on my CTs, since 2011. I have never encountered what you did. I have always been met with the utmost kindness, respect, and caring. If I had ever been treated as you have been, I would never ever return. I hope that you can do as others have mentioned and glean as much as you can from this nightmare and return to your trusted physician in Atlanta. (And maybe voice your displeasure to Michael Salem, President and CEO of NJH.)

Hi Busybeans…..I’m glad NJH is helping you. There ARE many positives there….I have a low tolerance for people that work in the medical field and have an uncaring attitude towards patients. I think it’s appalling. So I got enraged because it has happened so many times to me in Georgia. I’m going to see Dr Swenson in Atlanta on July 20…and requested that NJH send him my records. I want copies for myself too.
